Rules of Play CTA
ELIGIBILITY:
1. To be eligible to enter the raffle ticket website, you must agree to the rules of play, be fit to play, and be physically in the province of Ontario. Location Services on your device must be turned on to verify your location, per AGCO regulations.
2. Ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age to play.
3. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Perley Rideau Foundation Catch the Ace Raffle:
a. The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre Foundation employees
b. The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre Foundation board members
c. Employees of the AGCO
d. Employees of Canadian Bank Note Company, Limited affiliated with supporting the raffle.
TICKETS & DRAWS:
1. The Perley Rideau Foundation Electronic Catch the Ace Raffle will take place entirely online.
2. Tickets may be purchased online at perleycatchtheace.ca. The website is connected to the Catch the Ace raffle system, managed by Canadian Bank Note Company; an approved raffle technology provider of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
3. The raffle will begin on April 1, 2021 at 2:00pm and conclude the following Thursday at 1:30pm.
4. Winning numbers will be posted on the Perley Rideau’s social media and on the URL listed above.
5. Tickets sales will begin at 2:00pm on Thursdays, following the previous weekly draw.
6. Tickets will be sold at a cost of $50 for 20, $20 for 5, or $10 for 1
7. There is no limit on the number of tickets available.
8. When purchasing tickets, players must select a virtual envelope number from the remaining unopened envelopes available at the time of purchase. Each envelope contains a hidden playing card from a standard 52 card deck. The number of envelopes available for selection begins with 52 and declines by 1, each week. Previous weekly winners’ envelope selections will reveal the card hidden in those envelopes, until the Ace of Spades is revealed. The weekly winner who selects the winning envelope with the Ace of Spades will win the progressive jackpot. A previously selected envelope number with a revealed card cannot be selected in following weeks.
9. Only one envelope will be selected per order, no matter the number of tickets.
10. All tickets will be delivered by email. If you do not receive your ticket email, please contact the foundation at foundation@prvhc.com
DRAW SCHEDULE:
Ticket sales will close Thursdays at 1:30pm, confirming qualified ticket holders. Draw dates are as follows until the Ace of Spades is caught.

PRIZES & WINNERS:
1. The Progressive Jackpot will begin at $0.00
2. The Weekly Jackpots will begin at $0.00
3. A single ticket number, from all raffle ticket numbers sold during the week leading up to the draw, will be randomly selected each week by a Random Number Generator from Canadian Bank Note Company Limited’s AGCO approved system.
4. Each weekly draw winner will receive a single cash prize equal to 20% of all ticket sales collected during that week. Following the draw, the playing card in the envelope chosen by the weekly draw winner will be revealed.
5. If the envelope contains the Ace of Spades, the weekly winner will also receive the Catch the Ace Progressive Jackpot which equals 30% of the ticket sales collected over all weeks. At that point, the Perley Rideau Foundation Catch the Ace Raffle will be concluded.
6. If the envelope does not contain the Ace of Spades, 30% of the ticket sales collected from that week will be added to the Progressive Jackpot and the raffle will continue for another week.
7. All tickets from the previous week will be voided and ticket sales will commence for the next weekly draw.
8. The winning number will be posted to perleycatchtheace.ca and shared on the Perley Rideau’s social media platforms following each weekly draw, along with the weekly prize amount and the revealed playing card associated with the weekly winning ticket.
9. Winners may be notified by phone or email.
10. The winner must provide photo identification verifying that they are at least 18 years of age, as well as a copy of their ticket with the winning number upon claiming their prize.
11. Winners will have six (6) months from the draw date to claim their prize. Any prizes still unclaimed after six months will be donated to a charity other than the Perley and Rideau Veterans Health Centre Foundation, with the approval of the AGCO.
12. Cash prizes will be paid by cheque within 30 days of claiming the prize and mailed to winners, unless otherwise agreed upon by the winner and the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre Foundation.
